Tonight, the Miami Heat took care of business.....Go Heat!

I just took some sinus meds and throat lozenges...I'm about to get my chillax on...

Today, I had a nice time at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA...It's on my "Nice Church" list.

As I continue my church home quest, tomorrow, I'll visit Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA where Rev. C. Andre Grier is pastor...He also happens to be my friend Stephanie Grier Simon's brother...I look forward to having a great time. If you're going to be at Union tomorrow, then please, holla at me.

I choose to be happy!

I thank God for keeping the trees around me intact. Unfortunately, numerous large trees uprooted, during the Atlanta metroplex's storms. A few people were killed. I pray for the victims' families and friends.

Today, I had a nice time at Word of Faith in Austell, GA...It's on my "Nice Church" list...

The Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat are on TNT.tv...for free...no special package needed....

As I continue to look for a church home, in the Atl, tomorrow, I'll visit Word of Faith where Bishop Dale C. Bronner is pastor.

Though it might seem risky, sometimes, you have to leap before you look.....

According to the Bible, “The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22 New King James Version)…..If you have something in your life that’s adding sorrow, then you might want to consider whether it’s really a blessing from the Lord….

Some say that hindsight is 20/20. I say that foresight is 20/20…When I see danger lurking, I evacuate the premises…

A mother is one who nurtures and protects (dictionary.com). By that definition, a mother doesn’t have to be female. Also, a mother doesn’t have to have given birth to those s/he nurtures and/or protects. Moreover, by the given definition, giving birth doesn’t make a female a mother if she doesn’t nurture and protect her offspring. As such, if you’ve nurtured and protected others, then you fit the definition….Happy Mothers’ Day!
