As 2010 is ending, I’m thankful that I got to be a part of this year. I’m singing an old time gospel—We thank You, Lord. We thank You for our journey. You brought us from a long long way….Through tear stained eyes You brought us….ups and downs, You brought us. You brought us, Oh Lord, You brought us…You’ve been leading us. You’ve been guiding us along life’s narrow way…--Please, sing with me if you know it.

It's been said that it's important to wisely choose your battles. When people speak foolishly, you don't have to show them all of their logical errors. Sometimes, you have to be quiet and let the foolish slide. Though they'll think that they out smarted you here and there, when they really didn't, if you continue to use wisdom, in dealing with them, then it will pay off for you....

Gifts for Jesus on His "Birthday": On Christmas, many celebrate Jesus' birth. In giving on His birthday, don't forget to give Him a gift. This year, in addition to my daily prayer time, I'm giving Jesus 2 straight hours of praise and worship, as part of my gift, on His birthday. What are you giving Jesus on His birthday?

Today's my mother's birthday. She’s laid hands on the dead, and they came back to life. She’s laid hands on the sick, and they were healed. For over 35 years, she’s preached with a Serious Holy Ghost anointing. She’s a True woman of God. In addition, she’s a fashionista(including tight jeans and 4”+ heels) and does high kicks during exercise. Happy birthday Mommy (Deborah AJ Walker)…At 62, you’re a diva! I love you!

Well, there are 12 teams in the ACC. Only two played in tonight’s championship game. My team Florida State lost. Though they lost, they can say that 10 didn’t make it, but they were one of the ones who did. Kudos Florida State for representing us with dignity and grace! Congratulations Virginia Tech on your win!

In the Bible, God commands that we neither touch His anointed nor do His prophets harm (Psalms 105:15). Some people touch and do harm by lying on God’s anointed and telling at least one other person the lie. Sometimes, such people wonder why things go wrong in their lives…They need to look back to see who they touched and/or harmed…repent and get it right…God meant the command. I pray for such people…

So my hair is thick and tangly, and I experiment with detangling methods that pull out the least amount of hair….On a regular, people tell me that my hair looks like a weave (Some people don’t believe that this is my hair.) Last night, I sprayed some weave detangler in my hair, and it quickly detangled my hair (I pulled out very few strands). Go figure---LOL

I thank God for favor…. I Needed Him to flex His arm and show how strong He is… I fervently prayed believing Him to be a prayer answering God. I knew that if He didn’t do it, then it wouldn’t get done…..Well, He flexed and moved some mountains. Today, I saw the manifestation of His hand. He worked that situation out like only He could do it. Where the mountains once were, He left His mark. Thank you Jesus!

If you haven’t already voted, then vote today, November 2, 2010. The Health Care Bill passed because strong congressional Democrats voted for it. Though over 32 million uninsured Americans, which includes Democrats and Republicans, could benefit from the Health Care Bill, all congressional Republicans voted against the bill. We need representatives who will push, not impede, the change. Yes, we can!

According to an African proverb, it takes a village to raise a child. Likewise, it takes a village to run a country. Though President Barack Obama is the head man in charge, he needs help to get decisions passed. Let’s help him get his village. Let’s vote for people who’ll help, not hinder, Obama. Yes we can!!! Vote early (now) –November 2, 2010.

President Barack Obama declared October 2010 as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. President Obama appointed the first White House advisor on Violence Against Women to work with federal agencies to end domestic violent in America. Also, under the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies can no longer consider domestic violence as a preexisting condition. Victims can get the care that they need! http://ping.fm/Rxmz8

Early this morning, in Albany, GA, a woman allegedly shot and killed her ex-husband. Late last night, because of arguing, police were called to the home, and the ex-husband was ordered to leave. However, within two hours, he returned. The next time police were called to the home, the ex-husband had been shot; and, later, at a local hospital, he was pronounced dead.---Get out alive and legally. http://ping.fm/LnMQS

I’m looking for a church in Atl. Will you recommend one? From attending Overflow Christian Fellowship (Albany, GA), where my mom Deborah Alma Jean Walker is pastor, I’m used to the following: 1. Anointed praise and worship and preaching; 2. Church that puts all collected money towards the advertised purpose (no undercover stealing); 3. A pastor who attends and participates in the entire service ; 4. Tongues; and more…

I pray for all affected by Sunday’s church van crash in Early County, GA. All 19 passengers were injured in some capacity with four dying….This unfortunate event enforces the fact that people should wear seatbelts, keep babies in car seats, inspect vehicles (especially when they’re old), and not overload vehicles. http://ping.fm/KIrWO

Today, I enjoyed speaking at the 4th Annual Butterfly Release (Albany, GA). We had beautiful weather for such a beautiful event. We released butterflies in honor of domestic violence victims. I pray that at least one person, who’s affected by domestic violence, realized that if I got alive (not through death) and legally (not by committing a crime against anyone), then s/he can get alive and legally. Thank you Liberty House for having me speak!

Liberty House of Albany hosts the event which honors those who have died and those who fill our lives with love, joy, and hope. Special thank you to my FB friend Clara Knight Lewis for asking me to speak!--Details: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Ray Charles Plaza, Albany, GA

Yesterday, a man expressed interest in dating me. After asking me if I’ll re-marry and hearing my affirmative reply, he asked what I want in a husband and told me that he makes a good candidate. Yes, he is saved, an established businessman (millionairish)…As I’m not interested in him, he told me that, if ever interested, then I should take him out to demonstrate sincerity. I told him, “No.†Ya’ll am I old fashioned?

While some have worn white sheets, killed, and burned crosses, there have been people who’ve committed acts of hatred in the name of “Christianityâ€â€¦ Now, we have a group who intends to burn the Qur’an. The Bible states that people will know that we are Christians by our love. Christianity is based on love not hate…I sincerely pray that no one burns the Qur’an and that people stop masking their evil as “Christianityâ€â€¦

Today, I preached "Comin' Out the Fire"--Daniel 3:19-30. I touched on identity; the relevance of 3 (special completeness) and 4 (creation); the importance of having the right people around you; humbling yourself while in the fire so that Jesus shows up, looses you, and walks with you; having all of you go through the fire (purification) so that when you come out all of you will be ready for the elevation.

My research is mixed methodology quantitative/qualitative...I'm using SPSS for the quantitative and nVivo for the qualitative...I've used SPSS since the early 90s and love it! However, this is my first time using nVivo. Though it's saved me some time, I don't see how it lives up to its hype...The verdict is still out on it...

One of the weirdest things just happened...I was in a study room at the library. A man opened my study room door, stood and stared at me, told me he needed to use the phone. I told him, "Not in here." He kept standing and staring at me. As he tried to close the door, I reached out and pulled it open. He kept staring at me. I kept telling him, "Not in here." Then, slowly he went to the books by room (about 1 foot from me) and stood at the books for a while. I kept my eye on him and watched him go downstairs. As he was going down the stairs, a library staff member (who hadn't seen what happened) was going down behind him. I tried to get the staff member's attention so that he could get the male, but the staff member didn't hear me....I reported the incident. The staff here have been very nice in the process, and one reported that the male had been lurking around and seemed suspicious... Security is looking for the male...I'm now sitting on the first floor in front of offices (with glass walls so staff members can see me)...Thank you Jesus for keeping me!...Now, I need to focus so that I can finish chapter 4 of my dissertation...
