According to an African proverb, it takes a village to raise a child. Likewise, it takes a village to run a country. Though President Barack Obama is the head man in charge, he needs help to get decisions passed. Let’s help him get his village. Let’s vote for people who’ll help, not hinder, Obama. Yes we can!!! Vote early (now) –November 2, 2010.

President Barack Obama declared October 2010 as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. President Obama appointed the first White House advisor on Violence Against Women to work with federal agencies to end domestic violent in America. Also, under the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies can no longer consider domestic violence as a preexisting condition. Victims can get the care that they need! http://ping.fm/Rxmz8

Early this morning, in Albany, GA, a woman allegedly shot and killed her ex-husband. Late last night, because of arguing, police were called to the home, and the ex-husband was ordered to leave. However, within two hours, he returned. The next time police were called to the home, the ex-husband had been shot; and, later, at a local hospital, he was pronounced dead.---Get out alive and legally. http://ping.fm/LnMQS

I’m looking for a church in Atl. Will you recommend one? From attending Overflow Christian Fellowship (Albany, GA), where my mom Deborah Alma Jean Walker is pastor, I’m used to the following: 1. Anointed praise and worship and preaching; 2. Church that puts all collected money towards the advertised purpose (no undercover stealing); 3. A pastor who attends and participates in the entire service ; 4. Tongues; and more…

I pray for all affected by Sunday’s church van crash in Early County, GA. All 19 passengers were injured in some capacity with four dying….This unfortunate event enforces the fact that people should wear seatbelts, keep babies in car seats, inspect vehicles (especially when they’re old), and not overload vehicles. http://ping.fm/KIrWO

Today, I enjoyed speaking at the 4th Annual Butterfly Release (Albany, GA). We had beautiful weather for such a beautiful event. We released butterflies in honor of domestic violence victims. I pray that at least one person, who’s affected by domestic violence, realized that if I got alive (not through death) and legally (not by committing a crime against anyone), then s/he can get alive and legally. Thank you Liberty House for having me speak!
