I enjoy running into people who I haven’t seen in a while, and they’re friendly (stop and speak) as opposed to brand new (act like they don’t know you).
It's good to be home (Cincinnati, OH). Though I look forward to seeing family and friends, I'm mainly here to go to my paternal Aunt Mary "Sis" Whaley's (Grandma Bernice Benyon's sister) funeral and celebrate my sister's (JoVonne Walker) birthday.

When you take time to live in the moment, you make better decisions for the future.

Though some political candidates are slinging mud, and some of it might be true, don’t get caught up in the mess…Stay focused when you vote…Choose the candidates that will represent we the people and not a select few of the people….Vote early (now) - November 2, 2010.
If your situation requires strong faith, then don’t tell doubters your business…The less doubt imposed, in your situation, the better.
Foolishness is not cool…It’s not good practice to act foolish to fit in with people who are certifiably crazy….

So, I was at the end of Undercover Boss and hadn't really cried...Then, on the last employee's meeting with the CMO, I got my serious cry on....NASCAR offered to pay all of the employee's child's, unmet leukemia related, medical expenses...Whew!
Undercover Boss just came on CBS....Yay!

Some people waste time when they get angry about stuff that’s none of their business….Let’s make good use of our time.

According to an African proverb, it takes a village to raise a child. Likewise, it takes a village to run a country. Though President Barack Obama is the head man in charge, he needs help to get decisions passed. Let’s help him get his village. Let’s vote for people who’ll help, not hinder, Obama. Yes we can!!! Vote early (now) –November 2, 2010.
Every now and then, it’s good to have a good dose of laughter…

It’s interesting that when some people get a little somethin’ somethin’ they start smelling themselves…Yes, arrogance stinks…
A little love goes a long way...

President Barack Obama declared October 2010 as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. President Obama appointed the first White House advisor on Violence Against Women to work with federal agencies to end domestic violent in America. Also, under the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies can no longer consider domestic violence as a preexisting condition. Victims can get the care that they need! http://ping.fm/Rxmz8
Yes, it’s nice to give to others. However, sometimes you’ve been blessed with favor for you.
Don’t’ let your current circumstances keep you from moving into your future…

As usual, Undercover Boss was awesome! Whew!
Undercover Boss comes on at 9:00 ET on CBS.
So, in the BCS standings, Oklahoma is #1 while Boise State is #3....hmmm....What do you think?

Some people mistake questions for doubt…According to Socrates, questions can be used as a means to gain more insight…

The “Yes We Can” chant sounds good, and the T-shirts look nice. However, they mean little to nothing if people don’t vote. We have to vote in order to push change. Let’s vote__Early Voting (now) through General Election Day November 2, 2010.

Early this morning, in Albany, GA, a woman allegedly shot and killed her ex-husband. Late last night, because of arguing, police were called to the home, and the ex-husband was ordered to leave. However, within two hours, he returned. The next time police were called to the home, the ex-husband had been shot; and, later, at a local hospital, he was pronounced dead.---Get out alive and legally. http://ping.fm/LnMQS
Some people mistake confidence for arrogance…The two are not synonymous…

In light of the United Negro College Fund’s famous phrase, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste”, let’s try to make the best use of our time. Have a great week!
Cincinnati Bengals, how much worse does Carson Palmer have to play in order for you to make a quarterback change? Carson’s problems have been ongoing; and, today, they manifested in 3 costly interceptions. Come on Coach Lewis. Let’s call someone else’s number. Let’s make a change.

Today is my dad Joseph Walker’s birthday! Happy birthday Dad! I love you and thank God that you’re alive!

I refuse to live in oblivion, though others might embrace it....
In light of the adage, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”, keep trying until you get the solution. Sometimes you have to approach the situation from a different angle…

I’m looking for a church in Atl. Will you recommend one? From attending Overflow Christian Fellowship (Albany, GA), where my mom Deborah Alma Jean Walker is pastor, I’m used to the following: 1. Anointed praise and worship and preaching; 2. Church that puts all collected money towards the advertised purpose (no undercover stealing); 3. A pastor who attends and participates in the entire service ; 4. Tongues; and more…
If you keep looking for it, then you'll find it....
Louis Armstrong put it nicely when he sang, “When you smilin’, the whole world smiles with you.”…Though it might sound cheesy (no pun intended), smiling can help improve your day as well as someone else’s day….

I pray for all affected by Sunday’s church van crash in Early County, GA. All 19 passengers were injured in some capacity with four dying….This unfortunate event enforces the fact that people should wear seatbelts, keep babies in car seats, inspect vehicles (especially when they’re old), and not overload vehicles. http://ping.fm/KIrWO

You win some. You lose some. Life goes on…. Goodnight
Oh my goodness, I'm crying so hard...Whew! Undercover Boss on CBS is awesome!
Cincinnati Reds...3.....Milwaukee Brewers...2.....Da Reds!!!
Though, my local CBS stations didn’t show the Bengals game, and I watched parts of the game online, from what I can tell, the Bengals need a new quarterback…Though T.O. got 222 yards and 1 TD, Ochocinco only got 59 yards; and Palmer threw short passes…. Any thoughts?
Here's a clip of an overview of the 4th Annual Butterfly Release...The video includes an interview with me. http://ping.fm/wmfP1

Today, I enjoyed speaking at the 4th Annual Butterfly Release (Albany, GA). We had beautiful weather for such a beautiful event. We released butterflies in honor of domestic violence victims. I pray that at least one person, who’s affected by domestic violence, realized that if I got alive (not through death) and legally (not by committing a crime against anyone), then s/he can get alive and legally. Thank you Liberty House for having me speak!

Friday, October 1, 2010

Good try Cincinnati Reds! We'll get the Milwaukee Brewers next time!
